Working Together

For me, the first step in building a quality website is developing a rapport with my client.  We’ll be working closely on the design, functionality and content of the web site. To do an excellent job, I have to understand your needs, preferences and professional style. That’s one reason I prefer to meet my local clients in person prior to the start of work.

Like most web designers, BeauCreations’ workflow has distinct phases: (I.E. Design, Construction, Content). Generally speaking, we'll work out any design issues before the website is built. Likewise, you'll approve the completed website before we work on the actual content. For this reason, timely communication and feedback are critical. At each phase of the project you'll get progress updates along with the opportunity to review what's been done. In return, you’ll need to provide feedback and/or approval at each phase of the project.

Don't worry - I know you’re busy! Small business owners have many demands on their time; That’s why you need a competent web designer who can take the ball and run with it. Though you will be asked to approve each milestone, I won’t waste your time on details that don't concern you. Your involvement in the design and construction of the website can be as little or as much as you like. And, although there's no substitute for face-to-face meetings, most of our communication can be done by email or phone.

Professional Relationship

My goal is to develop a healthy professional relationship with each website client.  After all, there’s a certain amount of trust involved.  You are making a sizeable investment, and I am doing a significant amount of work.

I am proud to say that over 85% of clients for whom I’ve created a web site have become repeat or regular customers

The Website Content

Many of my clients choose to write their own text / copy for the web site.  After all, no one knows your business as well as you do.  This approach also saves you money, because I don’t have to charge for copy writing services. That said, I’m happy to edit copy, make recommendations and of course, catch the typos!

On the other hand, if you're concerned about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you might want to have me optimize certain pages by re-writing the copy. One of the best-kept secrets about SEO is that the copy on your web page is just as important as the meta tags!

If you prefer, BeauCreations can write or outsource your copy. Additional fees apply.
